『水脈（Water Vein)』デジタルリリース

『水脈』は、ねおみいが展開する「音の葉通信 Five Seasons Project」のSeason 2〈水の音の葉〉を彩るシングル作品。

本作では“水”をテーマに、時空を超えて循環する生命の営みを描きました。

作曲はアコーディオニスト岩城里江子。
ケルティックな響きをもつ旋律から着想を得て、ねおみいが「水脈」というタイトルに宿るイメージを広げながら詞を編みました。

レコーディングには、西アフリカの伝統弦楽器コラ奏者・坂入ヤスヒロが参加。
ねおみいの歌声とカリンバ、そしてコラの音色が重なり合い、神秘性とトライバルな躍動感をあわせ持つサウンドが生まれました。

私たちの身体を巡る水、大地を流れる水、そして太古から受け継がれてきた生命の記憶。
その見えない繋がりに耳を澄ませるような一曲。

“Water Vein” is the second chapter of neomii’s Five Seasons Project, representing the theme of Water.

Inspired by an instrumental composition by accordionist Rieko Iwaki, the song explores the eternal circulation of water and life across time. Ancient oceans, underground streams, rainfall, and the water flowing through our bodies are woven together into a poetic reflection on our shared origins.

The recording features neomii’s vocals, layered harmonies, and kalimba, alongside African kora performed by Yasuhiro Sakairi. Blending Celtic-inspired melodies with tribal textures, the track creates a deeply immersive and meditative atmosphere.

“Water Vein” is an invitation to listen to the hidden currents connecting past, present, and future through the flow of life itself.
